Editorial Standards

Spirit Lodge publishes content on consciousness exploration, wellness practices, and harm reduction. We hold ourselves to clear editorial standards because the topics we cover -- mental health, breathwork, psychedelics, and emotional wellbeing -- carry real consequences when handled carelessly.

Evidence-Based, Harm-Reduction Focused

Every piece of content we publish aims to be accurate, balanced, and grounded in the best available evidence. We approach altered states of consciousness and substance use from a harm-reduction perspective: providing honest, complete information so readers can make informed decisions. We do not sensationalize, and we do not minimize risks.

Where scientific consensus exists, we follow it. Where research is preliminary or contested, we say so explicitly.

Sourcing and Citation

Health-related claims in our content cite peer-reviewed research, with hyperlinks to primary sources wherever possible. We prioritize systematic reviews and meta-analyses, followed by randomized controlled trials, then observational studies. When referencing traditional or indigenous knowledge systems, we identify them as such and distinguish them from clinical evidence.

We do not cite retracted papers, predatory journals, or unpublished preprints as definitive evidence. If a study has significant limitations or a small sample size, we note that context.

Clinical and Research Review

Content that touches on health, substances, or mental health is reviewed by team members with relevant clinical or research backgrounds before publication. This review checks for factual accuracy, appropriate nuance, and responsible framing. All content is produced collaboratively by the Spirit Lodge Team -- we do not publish under individual bylines because our articles reflect cross-disciplinary review rather than a single author's perspective.

Transparency When We Get It Wrong

If errors are identified in published content, we correct them transparently. Corrections include the date the correction was made and a brief description of what changed. We do not silently edit published articles.

To report an error or suggest a correction, contact editorial@entheo-eosin.vercel.app.

Editorial Independence

Spirit Lodge is a commercial product. We acknowledge this openly. Our editorial content aims to educate, not to sell. Where our product is mentioned in an article, it is clearly contextual -- we do not disguise marketing as journalism.

We do not accept paid placements within editorial content. Sponsored content, if it ever exists, will be clearly labeled as such.
